Jennifer Lawrence breaks silence!

This week Vanity Fair have released there November cover of the totally stunning “Hunger Games” actress Jennifer Lawrence! And -wow- she definitely has broken her silence on the nude hacking scandal.

When hackers published private nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence back in August, and thousands of so-called fans spread them around on the internet, Jennifer attempted to write up a statement in response. But “every single thing that I tried to write made me cry or get angry,” she tells Vanity Fair Magazine. “I was just so afraid. I didn’t know how this would affect my career.”

Now Jennifer has decided different, and is speaking out in the November issue, appearing on the cover under a line that reads, “It’s my body, and it should be my choice” and openly discusses all the fear, anger, disgust, confusion, and embarrassment she experienced throughout the nude photo leak.

In a nutshell: she’s not sorry for the nude photos (as well she shouldn’t be), but confirms she is disgusted by the photo leak.

“I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for. I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you.”

“Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this,” she tells Vanity Fair. “It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world.”

Lawrence also called the leak not simply a scandal, but a “sex crime,” although the 24-year-old is not ashamed, she believes those that looked at the pictures should be. “Anybody who looked at those pictures, you’re perpetuating a sexual offense,” she said. “You should cower with shame.”

I think this cover and exclusive story line sure does make a statement! What do you think about the way jennifer choose to speak for the first time about her stolen nude photos?
