This cover is from the issue of Good that won Best Magazine Design at the 2011 Canon Media Awards and Best Cover Design in the Special Interest category and Best Relaunch across all magazine categories at the Magazine Publishing Association's 2011 Magazine Awards.

This image is deceptively simple in its appeal yet is full of impact.

The handmade pohutukawa wreath is evocative of classic Kiwi Christmas celebrations and summer traditions. It is framed by a New Zealand-designed red dress.

A cover that apparently ‘breaks the rules’. Shadow falls on to Uma Thurman’s eyes (a supposed cover ‘no no’); and yet the effect is electric. An incredibly striking image for our July 'Hot' issue that quite literally ‘popped’ on the newsstand.

You agree to indemnify iSUBSCRiBE and its group companies in full and on demand from and against any loss, damage, costs or expenses which they suffer or incur directly or indirectly as a result of your use of the Website, and any use of the same under your username other than in accordance with these Terms or Applicable Law.

ONLINE COMPETITIONS AND POLLS: If you take part in any competition and/or poll which is run on or through the Website/s, you agree to be bound by the decisions of iSUBSCRiBE, which are final in all matters relating to the Competition and Polls. iSUBSCRiBE reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or winner in its absolute discretion without notice if you fail to comply with the Terms laid out in clause 7.

COPYRIGHT POLICY: It is our policy to terminate any person’s user access with us if they infringe the intellectual or proprietary rights of others. If you believe any of your work has been copied and posted on the Website in a way that infringes your intellectual or proprietary rights, please contact us in the means set out in clause 10.
