What are The Maggies
The Maggies is a national poll to celebrate and award the best magazine covers of the past year. The awards are a high profile competition voted for by the general public and supported by New Zealand's leading magazine trade body, Magazine Publishers Association. The concept is initiated and developed by iSUBSCRiBE.
The industry-wide awards will celebrate the best covers of the past year, whilst also growing the focus on the magazine industry as a whole.
The Maggies will recognize those covers that resonate most strongly with the general public, encapsulate the passion of the subject matter, capture the spirit of the previous year and provoke the most debate.
How does it work
The Maggies is open to any* magazine cover dated from 1st July 2011 to 30th June 2012. Covers must be entered into one of the following eleven categories:

The deadline for entries is Friday 28th September. Every entry must be accompanied by a high-resolution image of the entered cover, a short testimonial and a completed entry form. A voluntary donation** to The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, would also be greatly appreciated.
* Newspapers, newspaper magazine supplements, on-line, in-house and magazines published off-shore are not eligible.
** Donations are optional and at the discretion of the publisher.
